off to college

We stopped by to see Sam Corey, who is in the final stages of packing for his first semester of Sarah Lawrence. He is a writer, and I am lobbying him to get a blog to chronicle his college life. Not sure how effictive my efforts were. He is his own man. Here he is surrounded by his dorm room gear, waiting.

fort worth x5, seattle x1, philly x1, Boston x2

I’ve been racking up quite a bit of air miles this year. I just returned from a shooting trip with Kristen Peelle, natively of Fort Worth, who has invited me me shoot a series of amazing weddings this summer in Texas with her.
Last weekend’s wedding was lovely, enormous and full of people, music, dancing. One of my favorite images was from the ceremony. There I was, hiding in the great shadow behind the altar, and I caught a moment. A great, funny, unexpected moment.

red letter day

Bethany and Kyle’s adventure wedding in Thailand is featured in the new issue of Destination I Do, and the winter cover is an image I shot of Bethany just after the ceremony on the Thai island of Koh Tao. I am so excited about this, my first cover.

I hope more adventures will come.
