till death (do us part)

Saturday, Sara wed Brian, in a small ceremony overlooking an old cemetery in Mission Hills Park. A former student at Brooks, Sara was a delightful model/bride, seeking out the best light at all times, and intuitively knowing how to pose herself and other around her. Made it fairly easy on me now didn’t it. Visually a kick-ass wedding. Here are a few favs. Sara’s sleeves were done by her now-husband Brian, in case you were interested.

i love october

Last night we watched the Sox take game 7. It was a wicked awesome night. Trent asked me during the top of the ninth, why Ortiz was wearing goggles. He’s new to this Red Sox Nation, but has embraced it thoroughly; even getting us a new hd flatscreen on which we will watch the Sox take the world series. Sorry Colorado. My heart’s with Boston.

* wicked was used purposefully to evoke various southie and dot grins

safe from fires

An update for those with whom I have not spoken; we are far enough away from the major fire sites to be okay to stay in our home and keep track of news by television.

on the ranch, on the ranch, on the bunker hill ranch

Kristen took me to my first rodeo Friday night.
I got called a yankee, and got called out for wearing chucks in the arena.
Too bad I didn’t bring my Tony Lama’s with me. Not that they would have fooled anyone here.

We were both covered in dust, head to toe to lens.
