I met up with Bronwyn and Jon on Sunday in downtown LA to hang out and make some portraits of them for their engagement. Two of the coolest people I’ve met;meeting with a veritable treasure map of historic locations to shoot in hand, we found the Bradbury building, lounged in the Biltmore lobby, oogled pineapples at the local market, and to top it off they brought me to their favorite chicken mural. It was a terrific morning.

Ahhh, the joys of living in such a city as this. Trent and I began our Valentine’s Day evening at The Great San Francisco Pillow Fight. Happy Valentine’s Day!

It rained much of last week here, and though Saturday morning it was clear, as soon as I got to Oakland for E & K’s portrait session, it started to pour again. Being a weather experienced New Englander, K had us under umbrellas and off to have a drink at Heinold’s. We holed up there at Jack London’s table, and enjoyed a bloody mary. We didn’t get outside much, but shooting in the old tavern turned out to be very cool.
