little fish boutique- the canvas wraps are in!

Tori Poor, the fabulous owner of Little Fish Boutique in West Portal, called this afternoon to let me know that the canvas wraps we ordered had been delivered to the store. I hoped on the next trolley. Wow, they look gorgeous and are HUGE! A peek at some we propped up before they get permanently installed this weekend:

[lost & found] – portrait of actress Brenda Dodge

I took this portrait of Brenda Dodge right before Trent and I moved to San Francisco. Our portrait session began late and ended a bit early, and though I had flagged and finished a selection of images, I was looking through the originals yesterday and found this one.  I can’t believe this one had not been picked before.  Here she is – the very lovely Brenda Dodge:

trent’s first published picture

Happily coinciding with his last day at his ‘desk job’ – one of Trent’s pictures was chosen to accompany an article in the San Francisco Chronicle by Ben Fong-Torres. Very pleased about that and new beginnings all around, we are off to celebrate by enjoying happy hour.

Here is a portrait I made of Trent this morning. In his work clothes, ready for the last few hours of the cubicle. Here’s to transitions!

presidio, legion of honor, and clement street crepes

Luis (also a photographer) and his lovely girlfriend Amy invited to me join them this afternoon to see the AL exhibit at the Legion of Honor. Both the exhibit and the museum were amazing, and hugely packed for Easter Sunday. It was my first trip to the museum, and I am so happy to have such an amazing place a short bus ride away from our new home. After the museum, we took Amy’s convertible to Clement Street where we dined at Burma Superstar (amazing!), and finished off the day with crepes and a stroll through a few shops on Clement Street.
