Trent and I spent the first day of 2009 enjoying the natural beauty of Northern California, specifically spending some time with the dog at Muir Beach. The wind was sharp, the trail fairly crowded, but looking west to the water, it was enormously peaceful. I sat and looked at this for a long time. Could this be an equivalent? Possibly.
