The name ‘Ars Magna’ is a nod to my six equally delightful and torturous years at Boston Latin School, where I translated various     war diaries and epic poems of love. Before starting Ars Magna Studio, I transitioned from teaching studio art and photography in the classroom to take a position as a teaching artist at the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum, the San Diego Museum of Art and the Museum of Contemporary Art San Diego.

Ars Magna is a part of Ad Hoc Boston, a creative co-working space filled with an energetic group of people who are passionate about our disciplines, our community, and each other.  In addition to doing a ton of work here, we host creative-industry-focused events and the occasional party.

When I’m not immersed in photography,  going on about Visual Thinking, or spending time with the people I love, I also indulge in too much television.

Ars Magna translates to Great Art.  And lest we forget the verbivores among us (literary nerds unite!), Ars Magna is also an anagram of anagrams.
