LOVE

You are in love.

You’ve found your partner in mischief, cohort in adventure, the person who encourages you to live better, live purposefully, the person who is ready to hold your hand and walk [or skip or run] alongside you on your life’s path.

And then there is the wedding. This official declaration of a partnership formalized, made legit.  No denying that it is meaningful to say vows to one another, in front of the people who care the most about you.  People who really know the journey you took to get to this point.

And you are, after all, your own rare birds.  That’s what people lovingly tell you, anyway.  Indeed you often dwell there, outside the box, considering all the various possibilities of life, dreaming big.

We invite you to step outside the box, untie the knots of tradition. Be yourself. Celebrate your commitment your way.   Picture your history.  We all lead lives of significance.

The name ‘Ars Magna’ is a nod to my six years at Boston Latin School, where I translated various war diaries and epic poems of love . Prior to starting Ars Magna Studio, I was a teaching artist at the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum, the San Diego Museum of Art and the Museum of Contemporary Art San Diego.

I am a member of WPPI (Wedding and Portrait Photographers International), WPJA (Wedding Photojournalist Association) and I volunteer for the Bay Area Heart Gallery.

For the verbivores among you, Ars Magna is also an anagram of anagrams.
